Nicholas Phillips

Nicholas Phillips has been senior editor at St. Louis Magazine since 2019. He’s now part of SLM’s Economic Mobility Lab, which explores how folks ladder up in terms of employment, housing, savings, and investments—and what blocks them from doing so. Prior to arriving at SLM, he worked as a stringer in Central America; as a writer and editor at the Riverfront Times; and as a contract reporter on the New York Times investigations desk. He lives in South City. Send your frustrations, proposals, and scuttlebutt to [email protected]
