St. Louis restaurant openings, closings, and coming soons

The following information is accurate as of an early-July press date.

BJ’s Bar & Restaurant, the 70-year-old, family-owned Florissant institution best known for its St. Louis-style pizza, was one of only two restaurant closures this month. On the plus side, BEAST Craft BBQ at City Foundry STL opened in late May. Last month’s opening highlights include The Noble Crown in the Central West End, featuring an all-star chef lineup; Del Bono, a pizzeria from the prolific Ben Poremba; and Chico Bueno, from Jordan Goodman, who continues to expand his culinary footprint in The Grove, much as Poremba has in the Delmar Maker District. Meanwhile, at the Delmar Loop, the Sonic The Hedgehog Speed Café pop-up inside Nudo House (6105 Delmar) has been extended another month, given its popularity.
