Micah Barnes is an emerging journalist currently gaining practical experience as an editorial intern at St. Louis Magazine while completing a master’s project at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Born and raised in St. Louis, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Webster University, where she graduated with honors and a minor in Art History and Criticism. Micah has held various leadership roles, including Editor-in-Chief at Vox Magazine, and has contributed the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Feast Magazine and Sauce Magazine. With experience in reporting, writing, and editing, she continues to develop her skills and make an impact in the local media landscape.
