Entertainment options at Lake of the Ozarks are expanding beyond the water. Oasis at Lakeport, a $350 million entertainment district and resort, will offer an amusement park, water park, and hotel.
The amusement park will feature a dozen rides, including two roller coasters and a 200-foot-tall observation wheel, with rides suitable for the whole family and some geared specifically for kids. The operation will be open throughout the year, although some rides will be seasonal.

“It’ll be 10 acres of real thrill rides and amusement,” says Todd Schneider, co-managing partner of SkyView Partners. “It’s a boutique park, which means no admission fee at the gate—you pay by the ride or attraction.” The park will also include light shows, entertainment, and fountains, as well as two restaurants, shops, and a food truck court.
The amusement park will be located next to the forthcoming 400-room Marriott hotel and a planned waterpark. The amusement park is currently slated to open in spring 2025, while the hotel and waterpark are scheduled to open in spring 2026.
The development will be situated near Highway 54 and the Grand Glaize Bridge. “The site we landed on has the busiest traffic count for autos and boats,” says Schneider, noting that visitors will be able to access it by boat.
The idea for the amusement park came about after developers recognized a void in family entertainment at Lake of the Ozarks. “There are tons of things for families to do on the water,” says Schneider, “but attractions off the water have gone away over the years.” The boutique park aims to offer something for everyone, says Schneider, “from grandparents to grandchildren.”
