The countdown to holiday cheer is officially underway as Winter WINEderland makes its festive return to Robust Bistro & Wine Bar (227 W. Lockwood) later this month.
From November 26–December 30, the Webster Groves mainstay once again becomes a fully transformed festive hideaway, bringing with it a full roster of sparkle, spirit, and holiday escapism. Over-the-top décor, whimsical cocktails, cozy bites, reindeer games, and nightly themes set the stage for one of St. Louis’s most elaborate pop-up experiences.
“The event was so successful last year—plus, we stored all the holiday décor,” says Stanley Browne, who owns Robust with his wife, Arlene. “The plan is to use it and add even more to it.”
What To Expect
Guests can experience a rotating calendar of surprises, from celebrity bartenders and local music to giveaways, photo ops, and charitable opportunities that make each visit feel a little different from the last.

Winter Winederland runs from 5 p.m.–close Monday through Saturday. Each day of the week brings a new experience:
- Monday: Après Ski Mondays warm up the start of the week with fireside cocktails and alpine vibes.
- Tuesday: Santa Tuesdays bring appearances from the Big Guy himself.
- Wednesday: Relax during a pajama party.
- Thursday: Enjoy a playful Girls’ Night Out.
- Friday: During popular Ugly Sweater Bash, guests are encouraged to “flaunt your festive fashion faux pas for prizes and bragging rights.”
- Saturday: Celebrate the Season of Sharing, with donations through the “Giving & Gratitude Tree” supporting a different local charity each week.

Chef Zach Dale is also planning a special lineup of seasonal dishes. The bar’s holiday drink menu also leans into the theme with such signature creations as Deck the Halls, the Fireside Old Fashioned, and the mischievous Naughty or Nice Hot Cocoa (complete with a garnish that lives up to its name).

Between the food, cocktails, immersive décor, and games (including a wine bottle ring toss, in which a win means taking home a bottle), Winter WINEderland aims to create a playful, memory-making escape. “It was the themed nights that really set us apart last year,” says Arlene. “No matter how you celebrate, there was something for everybody.”
Reservations are available through OpenTable, at $10 per-person (which includes a complimentary 3-ounce pour of bubbles). Walk-ins are welcome, and bar seats are first-come, first-served.
