Who needs a rookie card when you can have a Ruth Bader Ginsburg card? St. Louis native Ellen Schaeffer first created a series of trading cards, for her daughter, to showcase the spectacular achievements of women throughout history. Much like traditional baseball cards, Persistent Sisters trading cards include illustrations of female icons, as well as bullet point “stats” highlighting the iconic women’s accomplishments. Cards are available on the topics of politics, STEM, law, literature, art, and historical trailblazers. They can be purchased in random assortments or themed groupings.
