Dance has been Kim Revie-Buchheit’s lifelong passion. As founder and owner of Miss Kim’s Dance Class in Chesterfield, she enjoys helping students develop both their skills and confidence. Revie-Buchheit says seeing that moment when a dancer finally “gets it” is what keeps her motivated.

What motivated you to get involved in this work/community/activity? Dance is what I know how to do. I absolutely love teaching and organizing cool stuff for the kids.
What values or principles guide how you show up in this role/community? Honesty. Patience. Attention to family.
What’s the most enjoyable aspect? Watching kids receive a spark in comprehension. And, of course, dancing!
What’s one key piece of advice you’ve embraced? Ask your clientele what they need
What’s the greatest challenge? Computers.
Where do you find inspiration? The dancers, themselves. They always make us consider what’s next.
What are your future plans or ambitions? Retiring—if I can handle it!
