The restaurant, named “The Blue Note” after the Blues nickname and logo, is the brainchild of the St. Louis Blues and HMSHost, operator of restaurant concepts all over the world. Located near Gate E18 in Terminal 2, which serves Southwest Airlines, the restaurant seats more than 110 guests including 22 at a full-service bar.

The interiors echo the Blues’ former home, the St. Louis Arena, with a warehouse aesthetic of reclaimed wood and steel, and modern finishes of blue and white tile. Blues-themed murals and memorabilia line the walls, including helmets, pucks, and sticks used by players during their championship run last year.
The restaurant also has multiple video walls and TVs, so guests can watch games in real-time.
The menu spans breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Blues-themed breakfast dishes include “Bluesberry Pancakes,” a spin on traditional hotcakes. Appetizers include “Game 7 Poutine,” “Louie’s Nachos,” “Hat Trick Quesadilla,” and a St. Louis staple, toasted ravioli.
Lunch and dinner items include the “Blue Note BLT,” “Chicken Cordon Blues,” “Blues Burger,” and the ominous sounding “Penalty Box Salad.”
The bar also tips its hat to the Blues with cocktails such as “Blues Street” with blueberry and vanilla-infused J. Rieger’s whiskey, Campari, Carpano Antica, and orange peel; and “5 Minutes for Fighting” with Maestro Dobel tequila, peach syrup, citra sour, spiked seltzer, and lime. In addition to Blues-themed cocktails, the bar serves craft brews, wines, and other cocktails.

“In St. Louis, we tend to have an appetite for great food and great sports,” said St. Louis City Mayor Lyda Krewson in a statement. “This new and exciting addition is the best of both worlds, bringing together savory menu items and the rich history of our beloved Stanley Cup champions, the St. Louis Blues.”
