When you see the rotating propeller, you've arrived at DB Cooper's Safe House.
The following list is accurate as of a late September press date. A condensed version will be published in SLM's November 2018 issue.
Editor's Note: The surprise closing of the month was Mike Randolph's critically-acclaimed tasting menu restaurant Privado (but anyone who knows the chef realizes another concept is likely around the corner). One week later, a different style of tasting menu joint, Savage, opened to rave reviews in Fox Park. The CWE scored twice this month, with the reopening of Juniper in a bigger, brighter location and the arrival of the long-awaited, much-anticipated Yellowbelly, sister restaurant to the popular Retreat Gastropub. Themed restaurants are still alive and this month a notorious bank robber gets his due: DB Cooper’s Safe House opened on September 10th in Princeton Heights. DB has yet to make an appearance.
