Chesterfield gastropub Scarecrow is moving west, to the former Weber’s Front Row location in Chesterfield Valley. The new location, at 101 Chesterfield Towne Center, will be in a busy strip mall beside iTap and Vito’s in the Valley.
Opened in 2012, Scarecrow features a large selection of whiskeys, as well as steaks, pasta, and salads. Co-owners Shawn and Lynn Mulholland say they were “looking for a change of scenery, an updated space, and a larger patio.”
The current space, at 1095 Chesterfield Parkway, “had just become kind of stale," says Shawn. "Weber’s had just done a massive remodel of the space we’re moving to and for whatever reason—they have three other locations–it just didn’t work for their style of business.”
The new Scarecrow location will be able to accommodate about 200 inside and nearly 100 on the patio, compared to 150 inside and 45 on the patio at the former space. It also features a large fireplace and about 25 televisions.
“It's a pretty conducive space for what we do,” says Shawn.
The new location is slated to open in mid-March.
