Imo’s Pizza lovers will soon have a new way to enjoy their favorite indulgence.
Following a change in Imo’s corporate leadership last week, Mark Miner, the new chief executive officer of Imo’s Holding Company, said in a release that “Our team is ready to take the brand to new heights,” possibly hinting at the changes that were made public today.

Over the course of the next several weeks, seven varieties of Imo’s 12-inch pizzas (cheese, sausage, pepperoni, sausage and pepperoni, bacon, deluxe, and four meat) will gradually appear in the freezer case in all Schnucks, Dierbergs, and Straub’s, as well as hundreds of Walmart stores, coverage that includes 13 states (Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Virginia).
The ingredients used to make Imo’s frozen pizzas are the same as those in the Provel-cheese-topped pies made at Imo’s Pizza restaurants. They’ll be priced from $8–$10 each and manufactured in a recently constructed state-of-the-art production facility located in Downtown West. Look for them in stores by October 3.
“Imo’s Pizza has built a loyal following over the past 58 years, and today we are proud to offer our fans another way to satisfy their craving for the original St. Louis–style pizza,” said Miner in a release. “While nothing compares to a freshly baked Imo’s Pizza from one of our 99 restaurants, our Imo’s frozen pizza brings our parlor to your kitchen.”
Neither Minor nor Matt Pudlowski, chief administrative officer for Imo’s Holding Company, were available for comment.

In addition, Imo’s Pizza has redesigned packaging for its entire retail line, including pizza sauces, salad dressings, pizza crusts, Provel, and other cheese products. The new packaging features a standardized, updated design of the Imo’s Pizza chef and bolder red, white, and green accents.
In addition to its 99 Imo’s Pizza stores and new retail locations, Imo’s Pizza, ancillary products, and Provel cheese (including five-pound blocks) is available for nationwide delivery via Goldbelly.
