The Saint Louis Fashion Fund to move to Grand Center

The organization’s new headquarters, a part of a Kranzberg Arts Foundation development, is currently being renovated and is slated for completion in summer 2021.

The Saint Louis Fashion Fund will move to a historic building at 3333 Washington Boulevard in the Grand Center Arts District. The organization was previously housed just a few blocks away, at 1533 Washington Avenue, in the Garment District.

“We had been reassessing the Fund’s priorities before the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March and had already started looking for a smaller space, as the mission of the Fund has evolved and no longer requires a large facility,” Madeline Akins, the Fund’s board chair, said in a statement. “We are looking forward to being a part of this walkable, engaging arts and cultural district.”

The Fund will be located on the first floor of the building, which is a larger development project from the Kranzberg Arts Foundation, in a 1,000-square-foot space that includes two private offices, a studio to “showcase the Fund’s new fashion-forward programming,” and an area for future events such as pop-ups and meetings. The organization’s new headquarters is currently being renovated and is slated for completion come summer 2021.

According to the release, the Saint Louis Fashion Fund, which is currently looking for a CEO, is a nonprofit dedicated to the business of fashion and hopes to create 20,000 fashion-related jobs and double its existing $3.3 billion in economic growth to $6 billion by 2030.
