Everything you need to know about St. Louis Magazine’s 2019 A-List party

What should you know about this party celebrating the top of the town? Read below for some FAQs.

There are only a few more days until St. Louis Magazine celebrates our annual A-List winners, and we want you to join us for the party. St. Louis Magazine’s annual A-List Party, presented by Stifel, honors the best of the region—restaurants, culture, shopping, media, and more—as chosen by readers and editors. The winners will be recognized at a special awards presentation at The Sheldon, located in the heart of the city. Guests can mix, mingle, and dance while enjoying food samples, creative cocktails, and more.

The party is scheduled for Thursday, July 11. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. 

Where is the A-List party this year?

Celebrate with us this year at The Sheldon Concert Hall & Art Galleries (3648 Washington). (Besides the historic setting in Grand Center, it’s air-conditioned!)

Can I still buy a ticket?

Yes, tickets are $45 through Wednesday, July 10. You can also purchase tickets at the door on the day of the party for $50.

Will there be an awards ceremony?

Yes, the awards ceremony will run from approximately 6:15–6:45 p.m. During this awards presentation to highlight the region’s best, we will honor the 2019 A-List winners and finalists, including inaugural Visionary Award honoree Jim Kavanaugh, CEO of World Wide Technology. The event will be emceed by FOX 2 News in the Morning’s Tim Ezell.

What can I expect afterward?

After the awards, it’s party time! There will be multiple floors with food and drinks from some of St. Louis’ top restaurants. DJ Nune will perform on the third floor, and bands Elliott Pearson & The Passing Lane and Vote For Pedro will perform on the fourth floor. On the first floor, take TapSnap photos, and pick up a copy of the July issue. 

What about the food and drinks? 

Among the A-List winners who will be serving food: Yellowbelly, Elmwood, The Midwestern, Cobalt Smoke & Sea, The Chocolate Pig, POP Sparkling Bar & Restaurant, Kounter Kulture, Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery, Corner Pub & Grill, Pappy’s Smokehouse, Peno, Rooster, Quattro Trattoria + Pizzeria, Three Kings Public House, Three Sixty, Hi-Pointe Drive-In, Il Palato, Lona’s Lil Eats, Mission Taco Joint, Olive + Oak, Sugarfire Smoke House, The Shack Breakfast and Lunch, and Russo’s Catering. There will be an open bar until 9:30 p.m. with beer and cocktails. A cash bar will be available after that time until 10:30 p.m. Wine and other drinks will also be available for purchase.

What about a dress code? 

Cocktail attire.

There will be valet and street parking.
