Dot Dot Dash Boutique to Move to a Bigger Location

The new store will be twice as large as the current one, but will remain in the same neighborhood.

Soon there’s going to be even more to love at one of St. Louis’ tiniest boutiques. Later this summer, Dot Dot Dash (6334 N. Rosebury, 314-862-1962) is moving to a larger location on DeMun Avenue.

“We’re just really excited to be able to stay in the neighborhood because it’s a place we absolutely love,” says owner Alyson Garland, who opened the boutique eight years ago.

The new location will be more than twice the size of the current 365-square-foot store. It will also have a separate room in the back where Garland plans to hold private events.

“We’ve done it before here,” she says of the current location, “but it’s been pretty much shoulder to shoulder.”

Dot Dot Dash currently carries “soft, comfortable, casual” clothing from brands like Krazy Larry, Tyler Bӧe, Desigual, and Veronica M. With the expansion, Garland hopes to bring in even more lines that will fit the shop’s aesthetic, including designer jeans and new brands from the East and West Coasts.

“The one thing everyone who shops at the store notices is how soft everything is,” she says. “I have a passion for things women can wear to run around town.”

In the future, Garland also plans to add a corner of men’s items, as well as cosmetics and gifts.

Dot Dot Dash is slated to open its new location in early August, with a grand-opening event planned for soon thereafter.
