SLM Media Group is seeking a driven, forward-thinking Account Executive to grow its media platforms through strategic selling opportunities. We’re looking for someone who will lead consultative conversations with businesses across the community to build solutions that help reach their marketing goals. Primary Responsibilities
- Establish new business, and maintain relationships with existing clients in assigned advertising categories.
- Sell integrated marketing solutions for a locally owned and operated media company.
- Prospect for new business opportunities; must be able to qualify and identify leads to develop into advertising revenue.
- Translate clients' and prospects' goals into multimedia advertising plans.
- Must be able to multitask and manage more than 20 daily outbound calls, emails, and complete client proposals. Must maintain an average of five weekly scheduled meetings per week to maintain and grow business.
- Responsible for accurately forecasting revenue and meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals.
Qualifications
- Proven work ethic demonstrated through professional, academic, and/or relevant volunteer experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to close business at a fast pace in a pressure-filled, deadline-oriented industry.
- Must be able to juggle various deadlines, products, and clients.
- Ability to work well with a team in a collaborative environment.
- Must be able to use technology and client management platforms to keep database active and organized.
- Experience in sales, especially digital media preferred.
