10 St. Louis Spots to Watch the NFL Playoffs

Well, you can’t root for the hometown Rams in this weekend’s NFL playoffs, but surely you have a backup favorite—or at least a team that will keep your fantasy roster alive. Here are 10 spots to park it in front of big-screen TVs.

Its four locations are all great places to take in the game. The Soulard location (1000 Sidney) has NFL Sunday Ticket and $5 vodka red bulls. The Laclede’s Landing (118 Morgan) location has Kegs, Legs, and Eggs Sundays, as well as a 30-ingredient Bloody Mary bar. In Belleville, Ill. (313 E. Main), Sunday Funday includes industry pricing: $3 for everything. And at the location in Edwardsville, Ill. (132 N. Main), there are $2 bottles, $3 Bloody Mary’s, $4 Fireball shots, $5 vodka and Redbull, and $5 wings every Sunday during the NFL season.

Friendly’s Sports Bar & Grill

Friendly’s has domestic buckets for $12.50 and $6 pitchers of Bud, Bug Light and Select Saturday and Sunday. The neighborhood joint has 40 TVs, food for every palate and plenty of oddball games if you tire of watching football (perish the thought). 3503 Roger Place.

Helen Fitzgerald’s Irish Grill and Pub

Helen Fitzgerald’s has $14 buckets Saturday and $10 buckets Sunday. The South County stalwart boasts Syberg’s chicken wings and Shark Chunks. There’s always plenty of entertainment, too. Hang out after the game for a live band. 3650 S. Lindbergh.

J. Greene’s Pub

J. Greene’s is the brainchild of a married couple who had to overcome their own sports rivalry: He grew up in Webster Groves, and she was raised in Kirkwood. They’ve created a friendly spot to watch games and tuck into homemade specialties and local brews. Arrive early for a seat near the fireplace. 10017 Manchester.

Lester’s Sports Bar and Grill

This Ladue sports bar offers the Football Platter, which is a half-pound of wings, a quesadilla, T-ravs, and pulled pork sliders for $12.95. Every seat in the place is facing a flat-screen, and the restaurant smokes its own meats. 9904 Clayton.

O.B. Clark’s Restaurant and Bar

O.B. Clark’s has remained the place to watch the big game in Brentwood for more than 35 years. During the games, enjoy $16.50 domestic buckets. On Saturday night, hockey takes over, with the KMOX post game show broadcast live from the bar. 1921 S. Brentwood.

The Over/Under Bar & Grill

This downtown sports bar always has something on special. One thing that doesn’t change is the focus on sports. Don’t miss the gorgonzola fries. 911 Washington.

Patrick’s Bar & Grill

Game time specials include $10 domestic pitchers and $3.75 large domestic drafts. And the menu is a little more nuanced than you might expect from a sports place. 342 Westport Plaza.

The Post Sports Bar & Grill

The Post offers Football Fan Buckets—$10 buckets of Miller Lite, Coors, and Coors Lite—on football Saturdays and Sundays. The bar’s logo includes a backwards baseball cap, so you  know it’s chill. Maplewood: 7372 Manchester; Creve Coeur: 763 Old Ballas.

Weber’s Front Row

Weber’s has two locations with St. Louis grub, laid-back atmospheres, and plenty of TVs. You can pregame at the Arnold location with a breakfast buffet for $6.49 from 8a.m. to noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Webster Groves: 8169 Big Bend; Arnold: 3930 Vogel.
