“From designing a mocktail that reflects their personal taste to flowing through a mindful yoga practice, we wanted to create experiences that feel intentional, elevated, and welcoming,” says Marketing Manager Danielle Minninger. “It’s an invitation to slow down, savor the moment, and explore wellness in a way that feels both mindful and accessible.”

In addition to its usual menu of nonalcoholic beverages with zero-proof spirits, Café la Vie is featuring an exploration of mixology via its Dry January Wellness Bar. For $12, guests can build their own zero-proof creation by selecting from flavor-forward combinations such as Pomegranate + Rose, Apple + Cinnamon, Citrus + Sugar, Orange + Honey, or Cranberry + Spice, paired with a preferred mixer including club soda, tonic, ginger ale, ginger beer, lemonade, or iced tea.
Over the past couple of years, the bar staff has experimented with Dry January specialty mocktail menus, but this is the restaurant’s first year inviting guests to join in the creative endeavor.
It is also the first year for the wellness program’s Saturday morning self-care session with YogaSix. The studio has designed an all-levels class focused on movement, breath, and intention. Tickets for the 45-minute guided session on January 24 at 10 a.m. are available online.
After the class, Le Meridien will invite guests to visit Café la Vie for a curated post-practice brunch. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.
Café la Vie’s morning menu indulgences range from a coffee-chocolate protein shake, to short rib and potato hash, to avocado toast with roasted butternut squash, pistachio dukka, and pomegranates.
At a spacious 7,400 square feet, the European-inspired café adjoining the hotel’s lobby has plenty of room for patrons to choose an intimate corner where they can enjoy some of the hotel’s 50 original artworks or a more lively seat along the bar, where both Illy coffee and mocktails will be available.
