Valentine’s Day is, of course, a day to celebrate your special someone—but what about your special kiddo? These dances let the kids in on the fun of the festivities, either on the day of love or surrounding dates.

Sweetheart Dance 

Valentines and their dates will enjoy a meal, games, a craft, a photo op and more. Corsages and boutonnieres are available for order either separately or as a bundle. January 31 & February 1. 6—9 p.m. $65, $75 nonresidents. 500 Great Oaks, Wentzville.

Sweetheart Dance

Share a dance, sing a karaoke duet, or pose for a themed photo at this event that includes crafts, cookies, and visit from a Disney princess. February 1. 6:30—8:30 p.m. $30 per child. Sibling discounts available. LittleBits Gym, 6225 Ronald Reagan, Lake St. Louis.

Sweetheart Dance at the Heights

A dinner, dance contest, photo booth, and dancing will make this an evening to remember with your little cutie. Advanced registration is required. February 7. 5:30—7 p.m. $25, $30 nonresidents. 8001 Dale, Richmond Heights. 

Sweetheart Dance

Enjoy a dessert bar, photo booth, and a visit from a very special singing guest for this evening of dancing with your little one, ages 3–10. Pre-registration is recommended. February 7. 6:30–8:30 p.m. $15, $20 nonresidents. Kirkwood Community Center, 111 S. Geyer.

VIP Dance

Dancing, photo ops, sweet treats, and more will make this a magical evening for all. Pre-registration is required. February 7. 5—7 p.m. $10, $12 nonresidents. Arnold Recreation Center, 1695 Missouri State, Arnold. 

Sweetheart Dance

Keep the love bug going with a special evening of music, food, dancing, and fun. February 9. 4:30—7 p.m. $35 per couple, $15 each additional child. Crestwood Community Center, 9245 Whitecliff Park, Crestwood.

Preschool Valentine’s Day Dance

Ages 2—6 should put on their dancing shoes for a night of dancing, activities and photo ops. February 13. 2 p.m. Free. Grant’s View Branch, 9700 Musick, St. Louis. 

LGBTQIA+ Youth Valentine’s Day Dance

Celebrate the holiday with butterfly photo ops, snacks, music for dancing, crafts, and glow sticks. February 15. 6:30—8 p.m. Free. Complete Harmony STL, 3520 Greenwood, Maplewood.

Make My Heart Skate

This all-ages event includes crafts, games, hairstyling, face-painting, a hot cocoa bar, raffles, and Valentine’s shout-outs for purchase. February 1. Noon–4 p.m. $12. R.P. Lumber Center, 6289 Tiger, Edwardsville.

Sweetheart Skate

Take your little ones out to a fun-filled evening of skating and free popcorn and soda. February 12. 7—9 p.m. $6, $8 nonresidents. James J Eagan Community Center, 1 James J Eagan, Florissant.

Valentine’s Day Skate

Snacks, skating with friends, and photo ops will make this a date to remember. February 14. 7–9:30 p.m. $9 admission, $4 skate rental. Great Skate, 130 Boone Hills, St. Peters.
