On May 14, 2026, families gathered at the St. Louis County Library’s Grant’s View Branch for the very first installment of St. Louis Magazine’s St. Louis Kids Book Club, presented by PNC and The Clark Family, and hosted by St. Louis County Library. This monthly family literacy series is designed to bring parents and children together through stories, play, and community connection.
This month’s featured book, The Very Impatient Caterpillar by Ross Burach, set the tone for a fun-filled evening centered on early literacy and interactive learning. Children enjoyed a librarian-led storytime followed by arts and crafts. Families explored the library, connected with other attendees, and learned more about the library’s resources and offerings.
The free event continues St. Louis Magazine’s mission of fostering meaningful family experiences while helping children build lifelong reading and learning habits.
