Photos: St. Louis Family Playdate at Betty's Books

On April 15, 2026, St. Louis Magazine hosted a Family Playdate, presented by Royal Banks of Missouri, at Betty’s Books. Families gathered for a joyful and engaging morning centered around stories, music, and play. The event featured a lively musical storytime that invited little ones to listen, sing along, and fully immerse themselves in the magic of books.

Kids enjoyed exploring the space through play with toys, making new friends, and interacting with one another in a fun, welcoming environment. The combination of storytelling and music created an interactive experience that kept children engaged while sparking their creativity. Meanwhile, parents and caregivers were able to enjoy coffee from the café.

After storytime, families had the opportunity to browse the bookstore and discover new reads to take home, extending the experience beyond the event itself. We were also proud to have Ronald McDonald House St. Louis join us, helping to make the day even more meaningful for our community.
