A special illustration by Dan Zettwoch celebrating 314 Day in St. Louis
What is 314 Day?
It’s the holiday that keeps growing as the years go on: 314 Day, or March 14, a day to celebrate everything the St. Louis region has to offer. Terrell “Young Dip” Evans and Tatum Polk created the holiday in the early aughts with the vision of promoting positive things happening in St. Louis. The event picked up steam when Greater STL Inc. launched the STL Made campaign and partnered with Evans and Polk to bring in more small businesses, restaurants, and families into the celebration. In 2023, 314 Day will be officially celebrated March 10–14. This year’s slate of events might just be the biggest yet (you can find the whole list of events here), but there are a few activities that are especially well-suited for families, plus a few steals and deals to keep on your radar as well. Scroll down to read our 314 Day picks for families.
