On July 9, 2026, families gathered at the St. Louis County Library’s Grand Glaize Branch for St. Louis Magazine’s Kids Book Club, presented by PNC and The Clark Family and hosted by St. Louis County Library. The monthly series brings families together to share stories, spark curiosity, and foster a lifelong love of reading.
This month’s featured book, Henri’s Scissors by Jeanette Winter, inspired an evening of creativity and hands-on learning. Following a librarian-led storytime, children created Matisse-inspired artwork, explored the library, and connected with other young readers and their families. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the library’s programs, resources, and services available to the community
