On November 17, the Parkway Alumni Association inducted 17 graduates into the fifth class of the Parkway Hall of Fame. The event was held at the Sheraton Westport Plaza. St. Louis Magazine co-owner and CEO Ray Hartmann was among the inductees in addition to Robert Clark, founder, chairman and CEO of Clayco; Chris Nicastro, Ph.D., Missouri Commissioner of Education; Major General Gregg Sturdevant, assistant wing commander, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing of San Diego; Bryan Chapell, chancellor of Covenant Seminary, and more. An independent journalist and entrepreneur, Ray Hartmann is co‐owner/CEO of St. Louis Magazine. He also is a panelist on the lively political talk show, Donnybrook, now in its 26th season on KETC‐TV. In 1977, he founded The Riverfront Times, one of the nation’s 10 largest alternative news weeklies, and garnered two Missouri Press Association Gold Cup awards. He is known and respected for his enduring contributions to his profession and community. Hartmann was a 1970 graduate of Parkway Central.
