The following list is accurate as of a late-September press date.

Editor's Note: This month brings a mix of recent closures (Feasting Fox, Cousin Hugo's) and some that closed months ago but just announced this month that the change would last longer than expected or be permanent.
Notable openings include O+O Pizza and The Lucky Accomplice, as well as several ghost kitchens (Wing Ding Dong, KC Bones), a cocktail bar (Lazy Tiger), and a mocktail bar (The Mocktail Lounge).
Last month, there were more restaurant openings than in August 2019 (which no one saw coming). This month, there were roughly 15 openings (the same as last September) and fewer closings (six in 2020 versus nine in 2019). Go figure.
