The Corpse Reviver No. 2 is part of a group of pre-Prohibition cocktails originally intended as hangover cures. Their history can be traced back to the 1870s, though many of the original recipes were lost over time. Thanks to Harry Craddock and The Savoy Cocktail Book, published in the 1930s, details for making this delicious gin libation still exist today.
