- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup margarine, softened
- 5 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 cups cake flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup whole milk
Preheat oven to 325. Grease two 8-inch round pans and line bottoms with parchment circles.
In a bowl, cream together sugar and margarine. Slowly beat in eggs. Add vanilla. Sift cake flour and baking powder, then add to mixture.
Slowly add milk.
Pour half of mixture into each pan. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
