Concertgoers can now ride to a big-time show at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in style after grabbing a few bites and some craft beer at the nearby swanky prasino, then boarding a VIP shuttle bus.
The recently opened American contemporary bar-restaurant in St. Charles is taking advantage of its location–about four miles from one of the top music venues in St. Louis–by running a private luxury shuttle from the eatery to the known concert hub. The $30 ticket is also good for pre-show hors d’oeuvres—including all-you-can-eat wings, skewers and hummus—and two craft beers.

Prasino (1520 S. Fifth; 636-277-0202) became St. Charles’ newest local-and-organic-foods-focused eatery this past April. Its menu features everything from fish tacos to sushi to wood grilled tofu, with flatbreads, vegan-friendly wraps, and big, juicy burgers in between.
The inaugural run for the VIP shuttle is August 1, the night of the Honda Civic Tour featuring Maroon5. Boarding is at 7 p.m., but guests can enjoy food and beverage up to two hours before it departs.
The shuttle will be offered again on August 23 for the Keith Urban concert. Ephi Maglaris, Prasino’s director of marketing, said the restaurant (below) is testing the shuttle for now, and will schedule more dates if deemed a success.
