St. Louis will soon be repped on the E! Network.
St. Louis native and model Devon Windsor is set to star in the channel's new documentary series Model Squad. The show will follow Windsor and eight other models "as they take on the fashion industry in New York City."
The first episode will premiere next Monday, February 12, at 9 p.m. as a "special Fashion Week preview." The entire eight-episode season will air later this year.
Since graduating from Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School in 2012, Windsor has worked full-time as a model with IMG Worldwide. She first signed with St. Louis-based West Model Management in 2008, at age 14. In addition to walking in five consecutive Victoria's Secret fashion shows, she's contributed to campaigns for such brands as H&M, Forever 21, Amazon, and Nordstrom.
"Here is the first sneak peek of something that I have been working on for a while now and am so excited to share with you guys," Windsor wrote on her Instagram page, where she shared a clip of the show.
Windsor has appeared on covers for Vogue Thailand, Allure Russia, and Elle Brazil, as well as in editorials for Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, W Magazine, and Elle UK.
Although she travels the globe for work, Windsor also shares Instagram snaps when she returns home to St. Louis.
This isn't Windsor's first TV stint. The model, who loves to cook, made an appearance on MasterChef Celebrity Showdown two years ago to raise money for St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
For Model Squad, Windsor will share the screen with other high-profile models, including Daniela Braga, Olivia Culpo, Hannah Ferguson, Ping Hue, Nadine Leopold, Caroline Lowe, Ashley Moore, and Shanina Shaik.
“The women of Model Squad have achieved incredible success at a very young age,” Amy Introcaso-Davis, executive vice president of development and production for E!, told Deadline. “This series gives our viewers an exclusive front row seat as they watch real top models compete against and support each other through the triumphs and the challenges of the mega-pressure world of high fashion.”
