Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery opens new Brentwood location

Brentwood Square showroom is the national retailer’s third store in Metro St. Louis.

National home retailer Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery opened a new, 19,000-square-foot showroom yesterday in the former Pier One space in the Brentwood Square shopping Center. This is the chain’s third and largest Metro St. Louis location, joining its Chesterfield showroom and Henry Kitchen and Bath in Des Peres, which the company acquired several years ago. The new showroom will better serve Ferguson’s customers in the city and central corridor.

“We had a Henry Kitchen and Bath location on Kingshighway that was the original location and it closed, which I think left a hole in the market. So, we want to be able to serve that customer as well as customers that we may have been missing in the Brentwood area,” says Ardra Bradley, showroom manager of the Brentwood location.

Like its other showrooms, the Brentwood location offers a wide range of kitchen, bath and lighting products and name brands, as well as cabinetry design and cabinetry and appliance install services. On the plumbing side, Ferguson offers signature hardware from brands like Kohler, Delta, Moen, Brizo DXV, Kallista, and more. Its appliance offerings span from mid-range brands like GE, Bosch, AGA, Whirlpool, and KitchenAid to luxury brands like Sub Zero, Wolf, and Thermador. The Brentwood showroom will exclusively carry the colorful and customizable Château series from French range manufacturer La Cornue.

Customers can also find a full range of lighting solutions for kitchen and bath spaces in brands such as Visual Comfort, Hinkley, Mitzi, Hudson Valley, and Ralph Lauren.

From a display standpoint, Senior Showroom Manager Lars Johansen says the Brentwood showroom is set up to be more lifestyle friendly with all of the appliances in kitchen “suites” with full cabinetry.

“So you’re seeing real spaces versus just a lineup of appliances. We want the cabinetry to be inspiration for the kitchen projects that are within the scope of what our cabinetry designers do. It gives you a much more idea-focused space.”

In addition, an outdoor space will bring plenty of options for both shopping and learning. Clients can browse a range of outdoor appliances and grilling products, as well as multiple “live” kitchen spaces that will host cooking demos with local chefs, beginning in February, and give shoppers the chance to see the appliances in action.

Bathroom vignettes are set up to similarly inspire customers, in addition to traditional display walls of brand hardware. “The goal was to make each vignette be its own separate experience, and I think we were very successful with doing that,” Bradley says.

She notes that creating the new showroom was “a unique combination of the local design team and the corporate office’s design team working together to come up with something unique for the St. Louis market because our customer here is unique. I think our customers are going to be pleasantly surprised, and it’s going to feel different than a typical showroom in the St. Louis area.”

“We have a lot of influence on what goes in here that will appeal to the local market in terms of lighting and fixtures and cabinetry styles that are pertinent to St. Louis versus a national platform,” adds Johansen.

With its expansive product portfolio and experienced in-house cabinetry designers, Ferguson’s new showroom hopes to be a one-stop shop for homeowners, interior designers, and builders.

Says Bradley, “We’re a staff of professionals who are excited about helping our customers and excited about this showroom and we’re ready to get rolling with whoever has a project.”
