“A designer’s house is never finished,” declares designer Andy Villasana.
Known for creating an eclectic mix, Villasana is now dividing his time between New York City and St. Louis.
He is selling most of his furnishings, including a pair of Christian Liaigre by Holly Hunt Aspre chairs. “I’m feeling more whites and beiges, lighter and airier,” he says. Yet some things are nonnegotiable. “I’ll always strive to create work that is thought-provoking,” he says. So why not simply repaint the walls, or indulge in a Dedar fabric and reupholster the chairs? “Because,” he says, “as an artist I should do more.”
Stay tuned.
