Showroom 314 continues to expand. The company—which cultivates designers' brands through consultation and exposure—has only been up and running since spring, but owner (and former SLM style editor) Jan Leach Givens is pushing to represent more designers.
Already, Showroom 314 represents local designers Laura Kathleen and Lori Coulter. Now, Givens is representing Sauipe Swimwear (pronounced sa-wee-pay). The inspiration behind the line came from a visit to Costa do Sauipe in Brazil. The beaches and culture can be seen in the designs of the swimsuits, which showcase a variety of styles for any body type. Some one-pieces have cut-outs and plunging necklines, while others have intricate ties in back and gorgeous embellishments. The bikinis evoke fun, with playful tassel details and striking prints, and the bikini bottoms range from low-rise to a retro high-waist.
The brand is already sold in stores like Everything But Water, as well as other boutiques nationally and internationally, but look for it to continue expanding—just like Showroom 314.
