The Central West End just lost valuable boutique shoppers with the announcement of Ivy Hill Boutique’s closing. The store's original location (304 N. Euclid, 314-367-7004) is expected to close on July 31, a deliberate decision made by owner, Hillary Dutcher.
The boutique had a significant run of six solid years on Euclid Avenue, however, Dutcher recognized the need to focus on her personal life. The mother of two is expecting her third child in August, and although she loves the Central West End location, balancing a pregnancy and two storefronts is understandably challenging. Dutcher adds that she is extremely excited about her successful location in Ladue (8835 Laude, 314-721-7004), which opened in March 2013.
While the two stores carried similar products, Dutcher hopes to bring some of the brands sold exclusively in the Central West End location over to Ladue. She prides herself on the unique selection of clothing lines offered at Ivy Hill that remain affordable and chic. The expansion of brands in both fashion clothing and accessories targets Ivy Hill in Ladue as a fresh spot for shopping.
Loyal visitors and newcomers of Ivy Hill are encouraged to drop by the Central West End store before its official closure and explore their expansive sale. The boutique is offering a 30 percent discount on all merchandise, including a number of items already marked down. The entire store is packed with clothes, handbags, and jewelry available for purchase, but hurry in before July 31 for the best pickings and remarkable deals.
