AgriTech Thursdays

When: Second Thursday of each month, 5:30–6:30 p.m.

Where: T-Rex Geospatial Innovation Center (911 Washington)

In a nutshell: These monthly, after-work get togethers kick off with one company or researcher giving a talk about a chosen research topic, followed by a question and answer session, drinks, and networking time. Past programs include talks on plant phenotyping for climate tolerant crops and revolutionizing agriculture and carbon sequestration. The next featured talk on May 9 will focus on Bayer’s Preceon Smart-Corn System and regenerative agriculture.


Association for Corporate Growth St. Louis

In a nutshell: Executives from across St. Louis are invited to join the local chapter of this global professional organization, whose mission is to connect mergers and acquisitions dealmakers and drive middle market growth. The group hosts regular social, educational, and professional development events throughout the region.


Black Tech Affinity Group

In a nutshell: During these free gatherings, attendees can hear from local leaders and interact with colleagues in St. Louis’ Black tech community, while enjoying drinks and appetizers. 


Bourbon Friday

When: Fridays, 4–7 p.m.

Where: TechArtista Downtown (401 Pine)

In a nutshell: Professionals from St. Louis’ startup scene are invited to these free weekly networking events at Techartista. Hear from local leaders, meet entrepreneurs from a variety of fields and industries, and cap the week with a pour of bourbon.


Geosaurus Unleashed

When: Second Wednesday of each month, 5–6:30 p.m.

Where: T-Rex Geospatial Innovation Center (911 Washington)

In a nutshell: T-Rex hosts these monthly discussions focused on geospatial technology, including how industry leaders are solving problems. These free meetings including time for networking. Refreshments are provided. To get a feel for the format, watch this March 2024 presentation on strategies for building eco-friendly urban communities.


I Know A Guy/Gal

When: Third Friday of each month, 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.

Where: Llywelyn’s Pub (17 W. Moody)

In a nutshell: Business owners, entrepreneurs, and sales professionals meet at Llewelyn’s Pub in Webster Groves for these free, collaborative regional networking events. Attendees can build relationships and make new connections with St. Louisans working in a diverse range of industries.


Tech on Tap

When: Second Tuesday of each month, 5:30–7 p.m.

Where: Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery and Bierhall (4465 Manchester)

In a nutshell: Each month, tech professionals from across St. Louis are invited to for a happy hour event with local innovators. Each meeting features an interview with a different local tech leader.

Weekly Scientific Seminar Series

In a nutshell: This weekly speaker series brings together many of the brightest minds in the plant-science and agtech industries. Recent talks have covered medicinal plants and metabolic diversity, underutilized crops, and environmental sensing and adaptation. Young Professionals Network
