Dielmann knows the St. Louis real estate market as well as anyone. “The lack of inventory has been, without question, the biggest challenge in our business over the past year,” he notes. “Buyers are eager, and interest in St. Louis is strong, but the supply of homes doesn’t always match the demand. This has forced us to be more creative, more resourceful, and more proactive on behalf of our clients—that’s where having a highly skilled team really makes a difference.”

2026 QUESTIONNAIRE
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS & OPPORTUNITIES
What has been your/your company’s most significant success over the past 12 months? Over the past year, we’ve seen tremendous momentum. Our sales volume is up more than 10 percent compared to last year, and both our average sales price and our overall market share have grown as well. That tells me our agents are not only producing more but are representing homes at a higher level. It’s a reflection of the trust clients place in us and the caliber of professionals we’ve attracted to the Dielmann Sotheby’s International Realty brand.
What has you most excited about the future of your company or industry? What excites me most is the growth and energy within our team. We’ve welcomed a number of new agents this year, and perhaps most rewarding is that many seasoned agents who had left in the past chose to return. That speaks volumes about our culture, our support, and the opportunities we provide. Looking ahead, I see us building on that loyalty and momentum to strengthen our position as the premier luxury brokerage in St. Louis.
What’s the toughest business challenge you’ve had to overcome? The lack of housing inventory has been, without question, the biggest challenge. Buyers are eager, interest in St. Louis is strong, but the supply of homes doesn’t always match the demand. It has forced us to be more creative, more resourceful, and more proactive on behalf of our clients—and that’s where having a highly skilled team really makes a difference.
What advice would you give to the next generation of St. Louis entrepreneurs or leaders? Find a profession you truly love. When you enjoy what you do, the hard work feels rewarding, and success comes more naturally. Passion drives perseverance, and in business—especially in a city as relationship-driven as St. Louis—people can always tell when you’re genuinely invested in your work.

BACKGROUND
Where were you born? I was born and raised right here in St. Louis. This city isn’t just where I work; it’s home. I’ve built my career here, raised my family here, and remain deeply invested in the growth and success of the region.
What educational degrees do you hold, and where were they earned? I earned my degree in Business at the University of Missouri in Columbia. That foundation gave me the tools to not only understand numbers and strategy but also to think entrepreneurially—skills I put to work almost immediately when I started my first company at the age of 21.
What was your first job, and what did you learn from it? I’ve been in real estate from the very beginning. Right after graduating from college, I started my first company at the age of 21. Jumping in at such a young age taught me to be resilient, to adapt quickly, and to trust my instincts. More importantly, it showed me that when you truly love what you do, the long hours and challenges don’t feel like work—they feel like opportunity.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS
What’s your hobby/passion?
Real estate isn’t just my career—it’s my passion. I live and breathe it 24/7. Whether it’s analyzing market trends, helping an agent strategize, or walking through a home with a client, I genuinely enjoy every aspect of it. For me, there’s no clear line between work and hobby, and I think that’s why I’ve been able to sustain such energy and enthusiasm for decades.
