Ann Lemons Pollack began writing about food in 1984 for St. Louis Dining. It would be another 10 years before she married (and cooked for) St. Louis Post-Dispatch restaurant critic Joe Pollack. A one-time picky eater, Ann has written for the Post-Dispatch, New Orleans Menu, Sauce Magazine, and Ladue News, among other publications. She and her late husband wrote three guides to St. Louis restaurants, as well as numerous travel pieces featuring the U.S., Western Europe, and Southeast Asia. She’s currently at work on a non-guide book.
