Yes Honey Studio

Located in The Grove, this studio allows anyone to stop by and start dancing in any of its scheduled classes, including its Yes Choreo sessions, which focus on easy-to-learn choreography sequences, and its Yes Move classes, which blends dance and strength training to get the heart pumping. Walk-ins are welcome, though registration is preferred. Drop-in dance classes are $22, while students, health care professionals, and active and retired military are eligible for a $4 discount. 1519 Tower Grove.

St. Louis Dance Theatre

Dancers of all skill levels are welcome to enroll in open classes at this academy in the Grand Center Arts District. Choose from sessions geared toward jazz, ballet, and hip-hop, among others. A one-time visit is $18, but currently enrolled college students and professional dancers can take advantage of $10 single-class rates by contacting the studio ahead of time. Pack Dance

Instructors emphasize creativity and artistry at Pack Dance, formerly known as Consuming Kinetics Dance Company, which specializes in a variety of open-level drop-in sessions for busy St. Louis adults. From hip-hop and K-pop to contemporary dance and other free-flowing sessions, there are suitable options for dancers of seemingly every stripe. Drop-in classes are $25. 465 N. Taylor.

The Studio Inc.

This Brentwood studio offers programs for dancers of all ages, but its open classes are primarily geared toward adults. The Tuesday-night tap class is among the most popular for drop-ins, though sessions focused on ballet or jazz, for instance, are also available for those eager to hit the dance floor. Drop-in classes are $20 for a 45-minute session and $25 for an hour session. There is also a special Tumble with Your Tot eight-week class where a parent and a toddler can dance together for $75. Central Studio

Central Studio offers a range of drop-in options, including ballet, contemporary, and tap. There is also a virtual Move for Health class that emphasizes core strength, flexibility, and balance for older adults. The Dance Fitness class uses several step combinations to promote better stamina, balance, and coordination. All fitness classes are $12 for one hour. Dance classes range from $18–$22, depending on the length of the sessions, which are offered in blocks of 60, 75, and 90 minutes.
