Outdoor movie screenings proved popular last year as families looked for creative ways to have fun and stay safe. This summer, families across the St. Louis region can screen even more films al fresco. So grab the blankets and lawn chairs, pack a picnic basket, and head to one of these parks and local attractions to catch a fun flick under the stars.

This year’s theme is Game On!, featuring a selection of sports-centric flicks that will run on four consecutive Fridays in July beginning at 6 p.m. The theme highlights SLAM’s upcoming exhibit Catching the Moment, a showcase and celebration of the museum’s acquisition of more than 800 works of contemporary art assembled by former Cardinals catcher Ted L. Ballpark Village – Prairie Farms Movie Nights
Family-friendly movies are screened outdoors at the Together Credit Union Plaza in Ballpark Village. Pre-show activities include outdoor games, kids activities, and more. Boulevard Park Amphitheater – Movies in the Park

Edwardsville City Park Bandstand – Movies in the Park

Union City Park – Lawn Chair Movie Night

Kirkwood Park – Lions Amphitheater

Schroeder Park – Movies in the Park
Manchester hosts a series of public concerts and movies during the spring and summer, including a free screening of The Croods: A New Age at the amphitheater in Schroeder Park on June 10 at 8:30 p.m. There will also be a showing of Luca as part of the city’s Dive and Jive event on July 29 at the Manchester Aquatic Center.
