On August 13, 2026, families gathered at the St. Louis County Library’s Clark Family Branch for St. Louis Magazine’s Kids Book Club, presented by PNC and The Clark Family and hosted by St. Louis County Library. The monthly series brings families together to share stories, spark curiosity, and foster a lifelong love of reading.
This month’s featured book, I Eat Poop by Mark Pett, is a laugh-out-loud story that turns gross humor into a sweet lesson about curiosity, friendship, and understanding others. Following a librarian-led storytime, families played bingo, let their creativity run wild with a Play-Doh craft, and connected with other young readers and their families. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the library’s programs, resources, and services available to the community.
