Chuck E. Cheese is trading arcade tokens for climbing structures, slides, and ball pits with a new destination headed to Chesterfield.
The company announced this week that Chuck E. Cheese Adventure World, its new indoor playground concept, is coming to Chesterfield in 2027 as part of a nationwide expansion.

Unlike the traditional arcade-focused Chuck E. Cheese experience, Adventure World is centered on active and imaginative play. Locations range from 12,000 to 18,000 square feet or more, with multilevel climbing structures, slides, ball pits, obstacles, and a dedicated toddler area.
For parents who remember chasing high scores and feeding tokens into arcade games, consider this the next generation’s version of a Chuck E. Cheese day out. Kids can explore themed areas inspired by Chuck E. Cheese characters, including the space-themed Munch’s Cosmic Bounce, fairy tale-inspired Bella’s Castle Quest, underwater Jasper’s Bubble Reef, and Chuck E.’s Jungle Temple. Locations also feature a giant video wall and digital live show starring Chuck E. and friends.
There’s no word on whether any of the climbing structures will require the same determination it once took to earn enough tickets for the prize-counter jackpot. The pizza isn’t going anywhere, though, so at least one piece of the childhood Chuck E. Cheese experience will look familiar to parents.
The concept debuted in Arlington, Texas, in November 2025. Chuck E. Cheese now plans to expand Adventure World to more than 20 U.S. communities in 2026 and 2027, with Chesterfield among the locations announced for next year.
“Families have told us they want a place where kids can move and use their imagination all day, with food and celebrations built right in,” Chuck E. Cheese president Randy Forsythe said in a statement. “That’s exactly what we built. Now we get to share it with kids in a lot more cities.”
Adventure World offers all-day admission for kids rather than timed play sessions. Families can also grab pizza, wings, nachos, and popcorn at the Power Up Station, and the concept will offer birthday parties, field trips, playdates, and group events.
An exact Chesterfield location, opening date, and admission pricing have not yet been announced. Chuck E. Cheese says additional details will be released as plans are finalized.
