Millwoods Sports Bar & Grill expanding to Maryland Heights

The restaurant will be located in the Jimmy’s Place Sports Bar & Grill space on Dorsett Road.

Millwoods Sports Bar & Grill is expanding to Maryland Heights. Situated in the space formerly occupied by Jimmy’s Place Sports Bar & Grill (12068 Dorsett), the restaurant is slated to open this summer.

“It’s a great location,” says Keeley Walker, who partnered on the new location with Tony Miller, who owns the Wentzville flagship. “It’s a beautiful building, a beautiful place.”

The menu will resemble the original location’s offerings, with burgers, wraps, salads, and pizzas. While the new restaurant won’t house the Taproom Below, they are currently installing beer taps for the bar and grill. The new restaurant will also offer billiards and darts, a stage and dance floor, as well as a private event area that can accommodate up to 100 people. They are also planning to host karaoke and special events.

The Wentzville flagship opened back in 2016, and soon became known for its warm, welcoming hospitality, “a home bar for anyone and everyone,” Walker says. In Maryland Heights, menu changes include pork and hamburger sliders and a breaded chicken sandwich. Tex-Mex options include a variety of taco options such as the Sriarcha-Lime Chicken Tacos made with blackened chicken.

“We looked into several different places over the last few years and when this one came up, we thought it was a good fit for what we do,” Walker says regarding the Jimmy’s space. “And now, we’re ready to transform it into Maryland Heights’ new home bar.”
