Grand Tavern by David Burke unveils pre-theater menu for Wicked at the Fabulous Fox

The three-course dinner is the restaurant’s latest themed theater menu.

With Wicked set to begin its nearly month-long run at the Fox Theatre on December 4, Grand Tavern by David Burke has revealed its themed theater menu inspired by the show’s retelling of The Wizard of Oz.

The restaurant at the Angad Arts Hotel creates themed theater menus throughout the season to tie in with productions across the street. Menus are not revealed until the beginning of each show’s run. To date, this season’s themed menus have included tie-ins with Dear Evan Hansen and Margaritaville.

The $42 prix fixe menu features three courses, or “Acts.” The Wicked menu’s First Act is the Yellow Beet Road, which features roasted beets and goat cheese on a golden bed of beet purée, with a drizzle of poppy seed vinaigrette to finish. The Second Act offers a choice between Emerald City Shrimp Pasta or Witches Stew.

Themed cocktails are also available, including the Green Dancer and the Alternate. This production of Wicked kicks off at the Fox December 4 and runs through December 29, the longest running for a single show. For more information about the show and ticket details, visit the Fox’s website.
