Good Taste Edibles and Hi-Pointe Drive-In release French-Hi Sauce, a THC-infused dipping sauce

The sauce, the first product in the new line of THC-infused products, is available for purchase at select local dispensaries.

Hi-Pointe Drive-In has partnered with Good Taste Edibles, a subsidiary of St. Louis–based High Fidelity Brands, to create a THC-infused line of products: Good & Hi Edible Cannabis. The new product line recently launched with a dipping sauce called French-Hi sauce.

French-Hi sauce is available for purchase at Kind Goods Dispensaries, as well as other dispensaries. Hi-Pointe executive chef/partner Adam Pritchett created the recipe for the French-Hi sauce, which he says is similar to Belgian-style andalouse dipping sauce, with a tomato, mayonnaise, and vinegar base. The French-Hi sauce is infused with a distillate cannabis oil with little to no flavor, says BJ Jordan, chief marketing officer for High Fidelity Brands. The sauce itself is sold fully wrapped in a sauce bottle with child resistant opaque packaging for $28, with 100 mg of THC per bottle.

Hi-Pointe and High Fidelity Brands are currently working on additional products for the line, such as other types of THC-infused house-made dipping sauces, which might be sold at Kind Goods and other local dispensaries. For instance, Pritchett says, one possibility is Hi-Pointes’ d-lux sauce, a mustard- and mayo-based sauce, as well as a barbecue sauce option.

The Background

The pair began collaborating about six to eight months ago, when they came up with the idea for a new cannabis line, says Jordan. “Hi-Pointe has been cannabis-friendly, so it was a perfect fit for us,” says Jordan. “Partnering with them was a no-brainer, because of the great business they’re around, the consistency, and the loyalty of their customers.”

“We wanted to create a culinary product that wasn’t just candy and sweets,” adds Pritchett. “We wanted to bring something to the table that was more usable for day-to-day life.”
