Chandler Hill Vineyards and Perennial Artisan Ales announced a new partnership that will bring Perennial’s unique artisan beers to Chandler Hill in the wine country beginning Saturday, April 6. All 16 taps at the winery will feature the beers, stouts, and ales from Perennial’s stellar list plus offerings exclusive to Chandler Hill.
“Sixteen taps is more than Perennial has at their tasting room,” says Andy Kohn, one of the partners at Chandler Hill Vineyards. “We’ll have four specific styles, each unique, and only available at the Chandler Hill location.” Guests will enjoy fine wines and great beer in an idyllic setting at Chandler Hill Vineyards in Missouri wine country. The partnership brings focused, artisan, quality beer to Chandler Hill.

It’s the perfect solution for wine and beer lovers alike to share the memorable experience of an afternoon in Missouri’s wine country. “For our market, it is important for beer to be a focus, not just an add-on,” says Kohn. Much like the existing wine tastings at Chandler Hill’s bar, a guided beer tasting experience will also be available for guests. Staff members from Perennial will be on hand each weekend to provide tasting notes and beer education.
In addition to the wine and beer, the arrangement is driving new developments on the menu as well. “Every food item on our menu will be engineered with wine and beer pairings,” Kohn says. “Charles Miller, our food and beverage manager at Chandler Hill, is both a level two sommelier as well as a level one cicerone. We’re serious about wine, beer, and food.”
Kohn noticed Perennial’s fan base at the beer pairing dinners held at his EdgeWild restaurants, which are a separate business from Chandler Hill. Perennial sold out all 120 tickets weeks in advance. “All of the beer pairing dinners sell well, but sales for the Perennial dinner were exceptional. They had 25 people on a waiting list in case of cancellations,” he says.
“We are honored and thrilled to be a part of this project”, says Perennial Co-Founder, Emily Wymore. “Chandler Hill’s beautiful location will provide such an incredible and unique beer drinking experience for guests, to complement their already-established stellar wine program.”
The collaborative project will kick off Saturday, April 6, at 11 a.m. with a draft list including several specialty releases, along with Perennial’s core lineup. Perennial staff will be on hand with merchandise giveaways and bottle raffles. Bottles, cans, and merchandise from Perennial Artisan Ales will also be available for purchase and to-go.
On the bandstand, Hudson and the Hoodoo Cats will be playing the tunes, a mix of rockabilly, swing, Texas blues, jump, and soul. The music begin at 1 p.m. and the dance floor should be rocking shortly thereafter. A fitting celebration for an adventurous partnership of fine wine and craft beer.
