Arzola’s Fajitas & Margaritas will be setting up shop at Bluewood Brewing (1821 Cherokee) for a pop-up event from 5–8 p.m. (or until they run out) this Friday and Saturday, January 7 and 8.
Arzola’s will be serving its 6th Street Fajita Tacos, named after a popular arts and entertainment district in downtown Austin, Texas. The Arlito taco consists of a flour tortilla with fresh pico, queso cotija, and pickled radish with a choice of steak, chicken, or sweet potato. The tacos are served with roasted salsa verde and a smoky morita salsa. Carryout orders will be available but must be made in person.

This weekend’s event will mark Arzola’s fourth pop-up ahead of its grand opening in Benton Park, in the space previously occupied by Ernesto’s Wine Bar. The restaurant is expected to open in the next month with a newly renovated interior. The restaurant is owned by Coby Arzola, Derek Fatheree, and Eddie Arzola, who previously co-owned and operated the popular Chuy Arzola’s for nearly 20 years.
