The inaugural Brewski Kicks on Route 66 event is set to take place at The Factory in Chesterfield this Saturday.
The new fest centers around beer tastings from every state that the iconic Route 66 passes through, with the exception of New Mexico. There will be 32 beers to sample from 16 breweries. Fittingly, Missouri will have the most beverages on tap, including brews from Brick River Cider, Urban Chestnut, Heavy Riff Brewing, Rockwell Beer, 4 Hands, and Perennial Artisan Ales. The rest of the selections will come from breweries located in other states, including four breweries based in Illinois, three in California, and one each from Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arizona. In addition to drinks, there will be several other amenities on hand. Dishes from Rock Star Taco will be available for purchase, and there will be photo-ops with vintage vehicles from Classic Car Studio. There will be multiple “pit stops” for water and snack breaks, as well as “oil change stations” where attendees can rinse their glasses. The event will feature a DJ playing road trip-themed music and live country tunes from the local Bobby Ford Band.
The event begins at 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through TicketMaster. A $20 entry ticket gets you in the door. A $35 Half Road Trip ticket includes entry and samplings of 16 beers from eight breweries. The $50 Full Road Trip ticket includes entry and samplings of all 32 beers. An additional $25 VIP add-on to the Half and Full Road Trip tickets includes one hour of early access to the event, a swag bag, a snack voucher, and access to the VIP lounge.
