“In the modern Internet age,” says designer Ken Stückenschneider, “where anyone can shop the world for home furnishings, I think it’s even more important to have a place to come into, to feel the luxurious fabrics, to see the bright colors, to walk on the carpet sample.” At Stückenschneider Decoration & Design, clients meet with the designer amidst sumptuous English fabrics, luxury sheers, hand-tufted carpets, and a collection of handmade light fixtures. “I cannot work or live in dark spaces!” exclaims the designer.
