From wine bar to wintertime memories: Jenni and Ted met at 33 Wine Bar, where he worked as a server. After she wrote a flirtatious note to him on a napkin, he later returned the gesture by asking her on a date (in front of her mom, who then grilled him on his life plans, as Jenni recalls). The rest is history: Ted proposed in front of family on Christmas morning, a moment that Jenni describes as private and emotional. Fittingly, the couple later hosted their rehearsal dinner at 33 Wine Bar.
Ceremony + Reception: The groom wanted a small wedding; the bride wanted to celebrate with friends and family they hadn’t seen for months during the pandemic. They kept the ceremony small with immediate family and a few aunts and uncles. “It was sweet and felt like a perfect moment,” Jenni says. Afterward, friends and family gathered at Olive + Oak’s event space, where The Charles Glenn Band performed. Jenni attributes most of the planning to her mom: “Every detail that people loved was her doing.”
