When it comes to Christmas, the more the merrier. Here are a few local events that offer the chance to be social while shopping and celebrating:
Babler State Park Nature’s Decor, use nature’s bounty to create wonderful Christmas wreaths. Participants provide the grapevine wreath and pliers, everything to decorate it will be supplied. Meet in the visitor’s center. December 10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Frisella Holiday Open House, shop local vendors, visit with Santa, and more while you look for this year’s Christmas tree. December 10, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Cellar’s Shop at Winslow’s Home Holiday Bazaar, shop local vendors, enjoy wine tastings and custom gift wrapping. December 11-12, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saint Louis Art Museum
Saint Louis Art Museums’ Winter Celebrations 2022, family-friendly, globally inspired festival featuring performances, traditions, and art activities. December 10-11, check website for performance times.
Benedetta Orsi & Friends Annual Italian Christmas Concert, presented by St. Louis-Bologna Sister Cities at the Basilica of St. Louis in downtown St. Louis. Enjoy a repertoire of Italian and American holiday classics with internationally renowned mezzo-soprano and Bologna native, Benedetta Orsi. December 10, 7:30 p.m.
Rob Pruitt's Holiday Artist Flea, Dragon, Crab and Turtle is hosting a flea market showcasing 15 local artists and makers at its Locust Street gallery. Go see art, ceramics, home decor and more. December 10-11, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Oh, Deer! Planthaven Farms Holiday Fun, shop for fresh trees, garlands, and wreaths and have your photo taken with a live reindeer. December 11, 11 a.m. to noon & December 18, 11 a.m. to noon.

Das Bevo Holiday Pop-Up Bar, for three consecutive days, the Underground will be decked out in over-the-top decor, serving festive holiday cocktails and snacks in one-and-a-half-hour time slots. Reservations required. December 15-17, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
