Where to celebrate Mother’s Day in St. Louis

While brunch and flowers are classic ways to fete Mom, there are plenty of other options.

Laumeier Annual Art Fair | May 8–10

Mother’s Day Weekend means the return of the Laumeier Sculpture Park’s annual Art Fair—the 39th, to be exact, happening during the park’s 50th anniversary year. More than 150 local and national artists—chosen from a competitive field—will have all kinds of lovely somethings for sale. There will be great music and food all day long, too. The $10 admission fee supports the park’s nonprofit mission of engaging the community through art and nature. 6–10 p.m. Fri, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Sat, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sun. Laumeier Sculpture Park, 12580 Rott.

The Queens! 4 Legends, 1 Stage | May 10

Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, and Stephanie Mills come together to blow everyone’s minds. The show was originally scheduled in February, but having it on Mother’s Day seems apt. Tickets start at $72. 7 p.m. Enterprise Center, 1401 Clark.
