Located in the La Salle Park neighborhood, this colonial-style brick home, built in 1883, is near Lafayette Square Park. Guests enter through a bright yellow door, directly below an ornate metal balcony, to a hip living room and kitchen. Artwork, stools, and trinkets provide a splash of color against the partially exposed brick interior walls. Leather furniture faces a sizeable TV, electric fireplace, and Himalayan salt lamps. The main bedroom includes a king-size bed, another TV, access to the outdoor balcony, and natural light. Outside, a fenced-in back patio offers views of the Arch, ample furniture, and an electric fire pit.
San Vincente Lake Cabin | Excelsior Springs
This gorgeous cabin on the lake offers peaceful seclusion in nature. Sitting above a 15-acre private lake, the cabin fills with natural light through its stained-glass windows. Guests enter through doors on the spacious front deck to a homey kitchen and living area, complete with eclectic furnishings and a wood-burning fireplace. The upstairs bedroom includes a bathroom, arm chair, and king-size bed. During warmer months (or for those not wary of the cold), visitors can access trails, kayaks, a paddle boat, paddle boards and canoes, fishing supplies, and a lakefront common area. The large outdoor deck also includes lounge chairs, a patio table, a gas burner, and a charcoal grill.
Ivy Treehouse Cottage for Two | Rocky Mount
This quaint treehouse is tucked into a wooded area in the Ozarks with a view of the lake. One of four similar style cottages, it contains a modern interior with a mostly open floor plan and rooms that flow seamlessly into one another. Green design accents and lots of natural light create a cohesive feel throughout the cottage. The sleeping arrangements include a raised queen bed with matching bedside tables and a TV mounted on the wall, optimal for an impromptu movie marathon. A large walk-in glass shower with double shower heads is located nearby, next to a closed-off bathroom. The main floor also features a small kitchen area, with seating and basic cooking appliances. Large glass doors open to a deck with seating. And a small upstairs loft with comfortable bean bag chairs for lounging and taking in the view is accessible via an open staircase near the bedroom.
